CALL ME SHIN

Who Is Shin?

I am a 29 year old gender queer she/they nerd with Generalized Anxiety Disorder + Major Depression Disorder who enjoys writing in my freetime. I am currently in the process of obtaining mu Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing & English (Concentration in Fiction) through Southern New Hampshire University and has a 3.2 GPA. But that's not all! I also have a Certificate in Web Design received through DeVry University.

What Do You Specialize In?

I tend to excel in worldbuilding, character development, and heavy-duty research. Not only that but I tend to thoroughly enjoy things pertaining to mythology, psychology, and finding noteworthy resources + programs worth using. Now as for genres I specialize in? Sometimes even a dream will trigger my motivation and inspiration. And the same is equally true for music, quotes, sayings, scenery, along with other rather simplistic things. It probably doesn't help that I tend to hyperfixate on a lot of things. As of late it has been a toss up between various fandoms such as Mass Effect, Mortal Kombat, and Pokemon to name a few.

Why Do You Write?

Writing has always been a rather big coping mechanism of mine. It helps me express all of my problems and helps me cope with everything that I've gone through in my 29 years of living. Who would've thought that Narrative Exposure Therapy actually works? Because it actually does. But, in all seriousness, writing really does help me express myself and
